Profile

Lorraine is the training and engagement manager at the Digital Repository of Ireland and has responsibility for delivering and continually developing DRI’s skills and training programme, building and engaging the DRI end-user base, managing DRI’s publications, managing the DRI’s outreach programme of educational events, and supporting the digital preservation and access work of DRI’s members.

Prior to this appointment, Lorraine worked as a librarian in the higher education sector, as well as in school libraries (chairing the School Library Association in 2018/2019), and also as an executive librarian in public libraries.

DRI is funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS) via the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and the Irish Research Council (IRC).
