A major conference highlighting the importance of preserving audiovisual archives took place in Dublin on 1-3 June 2016 at the Royal Irish Academy.

'Archiving Tomorrow' is organised by information network organisation KES International, with support from the Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries (FOCAL); the Digital Repository of Ireland; RTE Archives; the International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA) and the Coordinating Council for Audiovisual Archive Associations (CCAAA). The theme of the conference is 'Archives At Risk: saving our worldwide heritage' and it brought together audiovisual archive associations, heritage bodies, policy managers, as well as industry experts, funders and supporters from around the world to raise awareness of the importance of preserving at-risk audiovisual archives.

The conference took place in the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin. More information can be found on the Archiving Tommorrow website.
