Schools’ Collection material from Co. Galway now available on www.duchas.ie

Press release. DRI is very pleased to be working with the National Folklore Collection in UCD and Fiontar in DCU

DRI is very pleased to be working with the National Folklore Collection in UCD and Fiontar in DCU on the Duchas Programme, which has just announced that Schools’ Collection material from Co. Galway is now available on www.duchas.ie.

Among other gems, you can find out about the clothes once worn on the Claddaghlearn how to make poitín, or study the tools once used in Rosscahill. Further information is available in the press release / preasráiteas

From January 2015, the public will have the opportunity to participate in this project.
